Bengaluru, March 8, ’19: TURBOSTEELLPS TMT BARS-the first and only product in Karnataka to use the LPS (Low Phosphorus and Sulphur) technology for high grade steel bars, was launched in the city today by popular cine star and director Mr. Ramesh Aravind.

“Honorary Ceremony” was jointly organized by Namma Super Stars and Chithra Mandali for winners of “Karnataka State Film Award-2017” and “Media Academy Award-2018”.

Event happened at Ravindra Kalakshetra’s ‘Nayana Auditorium’ on March 6th evening.

President of the program Mr. Chinne Gowda, Chairman of the Karnataka film chambers of commerce and secretary B. M. Harish inaugurated. Shilpa Srinivas, Karisubbu, K. M, Vireesh, Umesh Banakar, Other celebrities including Girish and famous film actress Bhavana Rao and Miss South India 2018, Sushmita Gopinath, Sparsha Rekha, Suman Nagarkar have participated.

Speaking to the guests, Oscar Krishna and Namma super stars have done a good job of congratulating the artists. He also wished to organize a bigger event next.

Mr. Chinne Gowda honored the award winners. Some senior actors expressed boredom that they did not attend the program.

The award was honored by state award winning artists, technicians, producers and directors, including the famous media journalist Nagesh Kumar and journalist Deshadri. All those present at the hallowed hall were arranged for breakfast. Oscar Krishna thanked the program.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪಂಗಡದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಿತಿ ಮೀರಿದ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಹಲವು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮುಂಬಡ್ತಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿದ್ದರೂ ಮುಂಬಡ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ದಲಿತ ಸಂಘರ್ಷ ಸಮಿತಿ(ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ವಾದ) ಮುಖಂಡ ಮಾವಳ್ಳಿ ಶಂಕರ್ ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿನಿಗಮ (ಕೆಐಎಡಿಬಿ) ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ,ಪಂಗಡಕ್ಕೆ ಮೀಸಲಿರುವ ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆಕುರುಬ ಜನಾಂಗ ಎಂ. ರಾಮ ಎಂಬುವವರು ನಕಲಿ ದಾಖಲೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ನೇಮಕಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧಉನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸ ಬೇಕು
ಎಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಕೆಐಎಡಿಬಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಅಭಿಯಂತರ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ,ಪಂಗಡಕ್ಕೆ ಮೀಸಲಿರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ,ಎಂ.ರಾಮ ಎಂಬುವರು ಕಾನೂನು ಬಾಹಿರವಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಹುದ್ದೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸುವಂತೆ ಸಮಾಜಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಮನವಿಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೆವು.ಆದರೆ, ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಇವರು ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮುಂಬಡ್ತಿಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕೆಲವರು ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ದೂರುಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತರಆದೇಶದಂತೆ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿ,ಆರೋಪ ರುಜುವಾತಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ,ಯಾವುದೇ ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸಿಲ್ಲ.ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಕೂಡ ಎಂ.ರಾಮಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಮುಂಬಡ್ತಿಯನ್ನುಅನುರ್ಜಿತಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಆದೇಶನೀಡಿದೆ. ಅದನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡ ಇಲಾಖೆಪಾಲಿಸಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕಿಡಿಕಾರಿದರು.
ಈ ಕೂಡಲೇ ರಾಮು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸೇವೆಯಿಂದ ವಜಾಗೊಳಿಸಿ,ಅವರು ಅಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ300 ಕೋಟಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆಸ್ತಿಯವಿರುದ್ಧ ಉನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪಂಗಡದ ಆಯೋಗ, ಈ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಕಲಿ ಜಾತಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆದಿಲ್ಲ.ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರ ಅಕ್ರಮ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತನಿಖೆನಡೆಸಿ ನೀಡಿರುವ ವರದಿ ಮಾಯವಾಗಿರುವುದು ವಿಪರ್ಯಾಸ ಎಂದರು.

ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆದರಿಸಿತಮಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದಂತೆ ಜೇಷ್ಠತಾ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ತಾಜಾ ಉದಾಹರಣೆ ಎಂದರೆವಿ. ಜಗನ್ನಾಥ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿ.ವಿ.ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಎಂಬುವರು ಉಪಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೇರನೇಮಕಾತಿಯಡಿ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದರು.ಆದರೆ ಇವರ ಹುದ್ದೆ ಇದೀಗ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಅಭಿಯಂತರ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಿಂತಮೇಲ್ಮಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾವಳ್ಳಿಶಂಕರ್ ಆಪಾದಿಸಿದರು.

As social media giants adapt to launch first ever period emoji this month, with an overwhelming response from 47 percent of women who believed the emoji could help them openly talk about periods, we look back at some of the initiatives that have opened the field for conversations on aspiration of women and help them talk about their dreams.

The period emoji is only symbolic of menstrual conversation. An emoji that reflects the actual life experiences of over half the population of the world and opening up vital conversations about women’s bodies. But social media may be late in catching-up. Celebrities such as Indian sporting icon PV Sindhu have been leading the way for these conversations.

There’s been a shift in the way we talk about periods compared to earlier times. Young women are opening up about their periods and taking to YouTube with their stories and advice, last year Sindhu’s open letter to girls share their #dreamsofprogress got widespread consumer response. Thousands of girls from all over the country joined Sindhu with an overwhelmed response to the letter. Many shared their dreams and aspirations- and how they wish to pursue them, without letting periods get in the way of their progress. P.V. Sindhu had only shared her own experience and young girls found a virtual mentor.

Not only women are getting more comfortable talking about their periods but men are also becoming more understanding and taking part in conversations about menstruation. Bollywood celebrity Akshay Kumar’s film called ‘Padman’ is a perfect example of a real-life inspired story on the same issue. The movie was a great conversation driver to normalize the talk around menstrual hygiene.

The broadening of menstruation conversation is shifting away gradually from its traditional ties to womanhood. We’ve come far, but we still have a long way to go. This Women’s Day we need to take steps that menstruation doesn’t impact women’s ability to get her an education or seek work. Ensure that undeserved communities get feminine hygiene through sanitary products for this natural cycle. Social media is just catching- up to the demand. Period.
